First Impression: Target Make The Grade Box

I really like the Target beauty box. I really like Target. Target is bae. I’m convinced Target has a bullseye on my purse! Any who… They get my money! This box seems to have a back to school theme and in the box insert, they say the box is supposed to keep you looking and feeling like your smart self. I am smart! Target – take my money!!! I digress… Box was $7.00 with dress shipping and includes a $3.00 target beauty coupon. So let’s dive into the box!

_DSC0874_FotorSecret Clinical Strength light and fresh smooth solid, 0.5 oz, $1.20: It’s deodorant. It’s the twist top kind, which aren’t really my favorite, I prefer a solid. But this is the perfect travel size, so that’s what’ll be used for.

Juice Organics Repairing Shampoo in Coconut, 1 fl oz, $0.99: I’ll never understand why companies send shampoo without conditioner. I think its better to use products within the same line to get a good understanding of how the line will work on your hair. This shampoo s for damaged or color treated hair. It’s free of all of the bad things and smells pretty good. Again, this is a travel item and not something I think I’ll use on a normal day.

Covergirl Katy Kat Eye mascara in black, 0.35 oz, $6.64: Reviews are mixed and I don’t wear makeup enough to have tried it yet. I will in the coming weeks. I’m happy it’s black and very happy its full sized!

Olay makeup remover, 7 towelettes, $1.40: Can never have too many of these! Will use these next time I wear makeup or in my travel bag.

_DSC0833_FotorNYC Get it All lipstick in IncREDdible, $2.99: I really like this lipstick. Goes on smooth, moisturizing, and I really like the color! Also love that its full size!

Credit 3D Whitestrips Luxe in glamorous white, 1 strip, $1.25: I haven’t used this yet, and honestly I’m not that interested. It’s one strip and I know that you’re supposed to use these continuously for best results. Maybe I’ll use it and read that using a hair dryer to affix it to your teeth would give best results. We shall see…

Up & Up five blade disposable razors, 2 razors, $4.16: I’m looking forward to using these. I generally only use my husbands’, so looking forward to using these razors specialized for women (sense the sarcastic tone). Sorry, a razor is a razor!

Lineage Water Sleeping Mask, 15 mL, $5.14: Smells kinda mediciny, but not bad. I’m supposed to wear it once or twice a week overnight to hydrate my face. We shall see! I like the consistency.

First impression: I paid $7.00 for this box and it has a value of $23.77. So.. that makes me happy! Worth over 3x’s the cost of the box. I will keep and use everything. I love getting more toiletries for my travel bag and I’m looking forward to using the mascara. I think it’s good to have good drug store brands that you can use. Another good box from Target!
